To Lamu

25 Jul

Over the weekend, i said good-bye to a friend, to say that we where close would be a little too much but we had many great times together and i can honestly say, i am going to miss him (already do!).

I have so many great memories of the time we spent with the crew ( to be honest you are the reason i went out to party) because i knew it would be a fun night. Yes, i said a lot of things i would never tell any one at 3am in the morning when i thought you where too drunk to remember and just before you left you shocked me! How could you keep all those things about me in your memory? Part of me wishes you could erase all of them but the other part of me is glad you remembered.

Now i have to look for a new lunch and party partner! It is going to be a long search. To be honest i cried and you know that is so not me!

Truth is i fell for the wrong brother because we get along like a house on fire and i did not mind people thinking we where a couple (every one thought i had great taste in men). May be in another life.

Good bye Lamu and i hope our paths cross some day.

P.S: When i started writing this post it was meant to be impersonal but for some reason my fingers and heart became one!

The memories of the ‘little’ (almost insignificant) things makes many a past relationships, friendships & acquaintances worthwhile.
